CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- The Tom Sox's four-game winning streak was snapped on when they fell to the Staunton Braves 7-3 Thursday night.

Staunton opened the scoring in the top of the second inning when AJ Henrich drove the ball into left field for the base hit to bring home a run. The score remained 1-0 until Henrich's next plate appearance in the top of the fourth inning. He drove Trevor Booton's pitch over the left field wall for a 3-run homer to extend the Braves lead.

The Tom Sox did manage to muster a late-game rally, but it wasn't enough in the end as they fell for the fifth time this season.

The team are back in action Friday when they host Waynesboro at 7 p.m.
