CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS)-- The Charlottesville Tom Sox pulled away early over the Covington Lumberjacks and never looked back, cruising to an 11-2 victory.

Charlottesville got off to a quick start, capitalizing on the Lumberjacks errors to put four runs across. Two came in by bases loaded walks, while another two came through on fielders choices. The Lumberjacks own Kaleb Henry went yard with a no doubter to the scoreboard in the second but the Tom Sox quickly rallied with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the frame.

Tom Sox returnee David Wiley added an RBI single in the seventh to make it an 8-2 ball game. With the win firmly in place UVA's own Tommy Roldon added more insurance with a three run home run. Roldon ended the night with 2 RBIs and home run for the 11-2 victory.

The Tom Sox hit the road to take on Culpeper Wednesday at 7pm.
